I AM DONATING THIS PAINTING!

Mental Health is a very important topic to many people and affects MOST of us in some way on a daily basis. However, as a culture we tend to overlook its importance. Recently, I lost a sister to suicide. Her existence was an on-going uphill battle during which, she fought not only for her own life, but to help raise awareness for Mental Health. I would love to pay tribute to her and I have always felt strongly about giving back in the way that I know best –with my art. Correlating with my upcoming solo show, READING BETWEEN THE LINES, and in an effort to de-stigmatize and raise awareness for Mental Health, I am donating this painting. The painting is titled READING BETWEEN THE LINES and is my largest painting in the show. It is 8 ft wide by 6 ft tall, and I used acrylic paint and spray paint on canvas. I am looking for related institutions with a community or public space to receive and hang this painting permanently, so its design, message and color can positively effect people who need it, on a daily basis. Please see the video below…
